Gods With “Rule Books” In Their Hands!

“Judge not, lest ye be judged!”

Jesus Christ

“Love, love, love”... that is what all the religions say! Yet, 3000 years later, they all bring about the very same things: division, hate, righteous slaughter, and judgment, judgment, and more judgment! Even Gods, who are themselves judges, who tell others not to judge!

Religious destruction: Heaven and Hell; Sodom and Gomorrah; The Crusades; The Inquisitions; The wars between the Catholics and Protestants; The hanging of witches in Salem, Massachusetts; The Holocaust; The IRA killing school children; Islamic Fundamentalist terrorism, like on 9/11; Palestinians and Israelis slaughtering each other; ... and, on and on it goes... a never ending list of horrors, all brought about by love; but, what kind of love... a love based on judgment!

But is this love, based on judgment, really love? The above list of human atrocities show it for what it really is: hate, of the vilest form, based on bigoted views that assume their origin in a “GOD”, which, in turn, makes them inviolable! Fanaticism is a better word; a word, which describes a mindset that ignores all the real traits of true humanity, to champion ideas existing outside of reason itself!

St. John said: “God is love.”; I go, one step further: “The human is love!” In fact, we are God, which translates to love! Religions have become group prejudices, dividing people from people; and, even worse, promoting hate between “peoples”! “Peoples” (the plural, instead of the singular) is what is causing all the destruction and hate in today's world; “Peoples” instead of “People”! “Peoples” like the Jewish ghettos in Germany before World War II, where a people, who immigrated to a country, instead of showing allegiance to that country, divided themselves from that country, and created their own little group in that country, even creating a Jewish German language, called Yiddish! Yes, that creates hate, not love; in fact, ending in a hate that brought forth the Holocaust!

Today, the same thing is happening on the Southern border of the USA. People forcing themselves into the USA, breaking its laws, yet showing no allegiance to this country, like true immigrants should. They do not learn English, and even continue to show more allegiance to the country that they came from, than this one! Is it no wonder that there is hate growing against them, all because they are just one more “Peoples”, instead a part of this “People”?

Then there are the “rules” that religions create. For instance, the so-called “Right For Life” people, who think that a pregnancy must never be terminated. Unfortunately, sex is a part of the human condition, and enjoying sex, with a partner of the opposite sex, can end in a pregnancy, wanted or unwanted. If unwanted, that can cause great problems for people, who never wanted that pregnancy to happen (or, especially today, could not afford to raise that fetus). In fact, the majority of the impoverished, homeless, and even the criminal world, were unwanted pregnancies, that were brought into this world by people, parents, who hated them, couldn't afford them, or, just, didn't want them! These people grew up like outcasts, becoming themselves the dregs of society, because they were never shown love. Bringing an unwanted child into this world to endure a life of suffering, is that love? Yet, the “Right for Lifers” say, its all about love; even though they cause destruction, and even murder to defend their position! This is the result of Gods with “Rule Books” in their hands, and judgment in their dogma!

This is America, where responsible freedom is paramount. A woman has the right to decide the fate of her own body. Unfortunately, pregnancies happen even when precautions are taken to avoid them. Until that baby is born, that fetus is a part of that mother to be, and, it is her right to have or abort that pregnancy. She has the right to do what she wants with her own body – if that isn't a fundamental human right, then there are none! Yet, Religions say, they can tell her what to do, and she must never abort a fetus! Again, STUPID FANATICISM AT WORK! Creating God, in your own belief image – and, totally blind to the hurt and damage caused to all parties concerned! Is this love... or the vilest form of hate?

The human lives in a world of facts, in a society of other humans; all use logic, not beliefs, to allow them to live together and prosper. Judgment is left to civil laws that emerge to keep all working and surviving with prejudice toward none, and decency toward all. Prejudice is kept within our own beliefs, so that all can still live and prosper with others, even with their own beliefs, forming one People.

This country, the USA, allows religious freedom to all, thereby ensuring that religious prejudice does not harm others with different beliefs; and, as long as those beliefs do not keep all from functioning and working together. One People, under God, even if that God is the human, itself; that means one People, who see all, equally and non-prejudicially, functioning as one people. Therefore, the State, not God, holds the rule book for all! Again, even the Christ understood this: “Render therefore to Caesar the things, which are Caesar's, and to God that which is God's.” God's province was love – not lawful prejudice – while the State's province was law, to allow all to function together.

So, the Middle East is still a religious mess, today! No better than it always was. The land, where all the prejudicial religions began, is still a land, where hate, not love prevails; and kill or be killed has become the only real tenant of religion, not the “Wild West”, but the “Wild East”, enigmatically, the land of God's “chosen”, even though that enigmatic, non-judgmental, judgmental God (with a rule book in his hand) supposedly created ALL!

So, is religion a solution, or just one more problem – you decide!
